Tragic Pedestrian Crash on Trosper Road Kills 54-Year-Old Tumwater Resident [Tumwater, WA]

Tumwater, WA (December 6, 2025) — On Tuesday evening, a 54-year-old Tumwater resident died Tuesday evening after a tragic pedestrian crash on Trosper Road.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 4:55 p.m. at the intersection of Trosper Road Southwest and Lake Park Drive, near Barnes Lake and Interstate 5.

Authorities reported that a 69-year-old driver turning left from Lake Park Drive onto eastbound Trosper Road struck the pedestrian.

Moreover, the driver stopped immediately and called 911. Witnesses attempted to assist until emergency responders arrived. The pedestrian was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle but was pronounced dead.

Trosper Road was closed for several hours while police investigated the scene. The investigation into the collision remains ongoing.
