Hit-and-Run Crash on Tully Road Injures Pedestrian [San Jose, CA]

San Jose, CA (June 26, 2025) — San Jose police arrested a driver accused of fleeing the scene after a pedestrian crash on Tully Road, causing life-threatening injuries, Tuesday night.

Officers responded to the crash near Tully and Senter roads, where they found the injured pedestrian. The victim was rushed to a hospital and remains in critical condition, although authorities said the person’s condition has stabilized.

Investigators quickly used surveillance technology, including public safety cameras and automated license plate reader data, to identify the suspect vehicle. Although the vehicle’s license plate appeared to have been altered, analysts gathered additional evidence that helped determine a possible registration number.
