Deadly Crash on West Parthenia Street Under Investigation [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (July 30, 2026) — Two people lost their lives early Tuesday after a shocking crash on West Parthenia Street when a speeding sedan crashed into a light pole in the Winnetka neighborhood of Los Angeles, authorities said.

The collision happened around 2 a.m. near Mason Avenue. According to investigators, the white sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck a city light pole.

One occupant died at the scene, while the other was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries. Authorities later confirmed that the hospitalized victim also succumbed to those injuries.
