3 People Hospitalized after Crippling 2-Vehicle Crash on County Road 3060 [Columbia, MO]

Injuries Reported in Columbia Auto Accident on County Road 3060

COLUMBIA, MO (August 18, 2026) – Sunday night, a crippling 2-vehicle crash on County Road 3060 sent 3 people to the hospital.

The incident occurred at around 11:15 p.m. on County Road 3060, east of Rolla.

The report said an 18-year-old Salem man was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado about a quarter mile east of Rolla when the truck ran off the right side of the road. It struck a mailbox and then a tree.

A 21-year-old Rolla man was airlifted to University Hospital with serious injuries. A 20-year-old Rolla woman and a 17-year-old Newburg girl also suffered serious injuries and were taken by ambulance to Phelps Health Hospital.

Two other people involved were an 18-year-old man from Rolla and the 18-year-old driver from Salem.
