Injuries Reported in Valencia Auto Accident on Newhall Ranch Road and Hillsborough Parkway

VALENCIA, CA (July 23, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a crippling 2-vehicle crash on Newhall Ranch Road and Hillsborough Parkway sent 2 people to a hospital.

The crash between two vehicles happened at around 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Newhall Ranch Road and Hillsborough Parkway. 

Initially, the authorities received a report that two people were trapped, possibly children.

However, when the firefighters arrived at the crash scene, the report turned out not to be the case, said Melanie Flores, supervising fire dispatcher for the Los Angeles County Fire Department. 

After the crash, responders took two patients to the hospital in unknown condition.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
