Injuries Reported in Mead Valley Multi-Vehicle Accident on Cajalco Road and Seaton Avenue

MEAD VALLEY, CA (July 16, 2026) – Wednesday afternoon, a crippling 3-vehicle crash on Cajalco Road and Seaton Avenue injured 3 people.

The crash involving three vehicles happened on Cajalco Road and Seaton Avenue, less than a half-mile west of Interstate 215, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three people were injured in a crash that shut down Cajalco Road, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred on the westbound side of Cajalco Road, but the wreckage spread across both directions of the four-lane roadway.

Crews from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived within minutes and found three people with minor to moderate injuries. All three were transported to a regional trauma center for treatment.

Cajalco Road was closed between Seaton Avenue and Camino Del Sol while CHP officers and sheriff’s deputies investigated the crash. The roadway was expected to reopen by 5 p.m.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
