1 Person Hospitalized in Santa Rosa Bicycle Accident near Sebastopol Road and Laurel Grove Circle

SANTA ROSA, CA (June 10, 2025) – Monday morning, a crippling bicycle crash near Sebastopol Road and Laurel Grove Circle injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:10 a.m. near the intersection of Sebastopol Road and Laurel Grove Circle.

According to the Santa Rosa Police Department, a westbound gold Ford pickup truck struck a bicyclist who entered a crosswalk at the intersection.

Moreover, responders rushed the 55-year-old bicyclist to a trauma center with life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, the 59-year-old driver of the Ford remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.

Meanwhile, the crash closed westbound lanes of Sebastopol Road near the Laurel Grove Circle intersection but has long since reopened.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified. 

Due to limited information, the Santa Rosa Police Department continued investigating the crash.
