Child Injured in Crippling Bicycle Crash on Vineyard Road

Injuries Reported in Novato Bicycle Accident on Vineyard Road and Sutro Avenue

NOVATO, CA (April 27, 2026) – Friday afternoon, an 8-year-old child sustained injuries in a crippling bicycle crash on Vineyard Road and Sutro Avenue.

The incident happened at around 3:50 p.m. on Vineyard Road and Sutro Avenue.

Police said the driver of a newer black Mercedes, described as an older woman, briefly stopped and acknowledged the child before continuing westbound on Vineyard Road, leaving the child in the roadway.

A passerby stopped to assist the child, who sustained minor injuries, and called 911.
