LAKE OF THE OZARKS, MO (September 1, 2025) – Saturday afternoon, a crippling boating accident of Lake of the Ozarks near Big Niangua Arm injured one person.

The incident happened at around 2:52 p.m. at the Lake of the Ozarks, at the six-mile mark of the Big Niangua Arm.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 33-year-old woman was struck by the propeller of a 2023 Landau Pontoon that was backing up

Moreover, responders airlifted the victim to University Hospital with serious injuries.
