HESPERIA, CA (January 26, 2026) – Saturday night. a crippling dirt bike crash on Mesquite Street and Escondido Avenue.

The crash involving a small SUV happened at around 5:44 p.m. at the intersection of Mesquite Street and Escondido Avenue.

An off-duty CHP officer reported a crash involving a dirt bike and a silver Toyota RAV4 on Mesquite Street.

The SUV sustained heavy damage to the passenger-side door and ended up facing westbound, while the dirt bike came to rest in the intersection.

Emergency responders attended to the rider, who was transported by ambulance.

The extent of the rider’s injuries has not been released, and the CHP Victorville Station is investigating.
