Harrison County, MO (May 7, 2026) – Sunday night, a crippling golf cart crash in Bethany injured six people.
The incident happened at around 8:49 p.m. on private property in Bethany.
According to reports, a northbound golf cart attempted to go downhill and rolled over.
Moreover, North MO EMS transported the 14-year-old driver of the cart to Harrison County Community Hospital with moderate injuries. Then, a private vehicle transported a 14-year-old to Harrison County Community Hospital with moderate injuries.
Also, responders airlifted a 13-year-old to Children’s Mercy Hospital with serious injuries. Then, paramedics transported a 9-year-old with serious injuries, an 11-year-old, and a 12-year-old with moderate injuries to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the authorities continued investigating the crash.
