SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 26, 2026) – Late Tuesday afternoon, a person sustained injuries in a crippling head-on crash on Cajon Boulevard.

The incident involving two vehicles occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on Cajon Boulevard/Route 66, in a curve near Swarthout Canyon Road.

Authorities said a silver Ford Escape SUV and a dark gray Toyota Corolla sedan were involved in a head-on crash after one of the vehicles crossed into oncoming traffic.

One person was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not immediately known, according to fire officials.
