YOUNTVILLE, CA (January 25, 2026) – Wednesday morning, a crippling head-on crash on Washington Street and Highway 29 injured 3 people.

The incident involving a Tesla and a box truck happened at around 9:16 a.m. north of the intersection of Washington Street and Highway 29.

Both northbound and southbound lanes of Highway 29 were blocked following the collision.

The roadway reopened shortly before 11 a.m., according to the CHP log.
