Injuries Reported in Sacramento Multi-Vehicle Accident near Interstate 80 and Truxel Road

SACRAMENTO, CA (March 31, 2025) – Sunday afternoon, a pregnant woman suffered injuries in a crippling hit-and-run crash near Interstate 80 and Truxel Road.

The incident involving three vehicles happened at about 4:30 p.m. near Interstate 80 and Truxel Road.

Officers confirmed that two people were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. 

A pregnant woman was among those injured in the crash, and law enforcement confirmed the fetus was stable.

One person involved fled the scene, according to the CHP.

The Sacramento Police Department confirmed that its helicopter assisted in locating the suspect.

Officers later arrested the individual, the CHP reported.
