SCOTTSDALE, AZ (August 20, 2025) – Sunday morning, a police officer suffered injuries in a crippling hit-and-run crash on 94th Street near WestWorld.

The incident occurred at about 2:40 p.m. on 94th Street near WestWorld of Scottsdale.

Scottsdale police said an officer on foot was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene while officers were working an event at the venue. The officer was taken to a hospital, treated for non-serious injuries, and later released.

A stretch of 94th Street between Westworld and Bahia Drive was closed during the investigation but has since reopened.

It is not yet known if the hit-and-run driver has been found.
