1 Person Hospitalized in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Ashlan Avenue and Blackstone Avenue

FRESNO, CA (January 11, 2026) – Saturday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Ashlan Avenue and Blackstone Avenue injured one person.

The incident happened at around 6:00 p.m. on Ashlan Avenue and Blackstone Avenue.

According to the Fresno Police Department, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and apprehend the hit-and-run driver in the parking lot of the Walmart nearby.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Fresno Police Department continued investigating the crash.
