FRESNO, CA (January 27, 2025) – Saturday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Belmont Avenue and Fifth Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on Belmont Avenue and Fifth Street.

According to the Fresno Police, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Responders rushed the woman who was in her 30s, to a hospital with critical injuries.

Authorities said that the suspect vehicle may be a red pickup and fled the scene eastbound on Belmont Avenue.
