Injuries Reported in Hesperia Pedestrian Accident on Highway 138 near Summit Valley Road

HESPERIA, CA (November 6, 2025) – Tuesday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on Highway 138 near Summit Valley Road injured a male pedestrian.

The incident occurred at around 7:40 p.m. in the 14200 block of Highway 138 near Summit Valley Road.

According to a statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, a man walking south along the highway was hit by a vehicle believed to be a Ford F-150 pickup truck.

San Bernardino County Fire crews responded and requested a medical helicopter due to the severity of the man’s injuries. He was first taken by ground ambulance to Hesperia Airport, then airlifted by Mercy Air #22 to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

His current condition has not been released.

The Hesperia Police Department is investigating and asks anyone with information to call 760-947-1500.
