NEWPORT, CA (October 1, 2025) – Tuesday night, a crippling hit-and-run crash on MacArthur Boulevard and East Coast Highway injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 10:25 p.m. on MacArthur Boulevard and East Coast Highway.

According to the Newport Beach Police, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with critical injuries.
