TEMPE, AZ (December 9, 2025) – Monday morning, a crippling motorcycle crash on Rural Road and Rio Salado Parkway injured one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 a.m. on Rural Road and Rio Salado Parkway.

According to reports, a car struck a motorcyclist who attempted a left-hand turn too soon onto Rio Salado.

Moreover, responders rushed the motorcyclist to a hospital with critical injuries. Also, paramedics transported a passenger of the car to a hospital for evaluation.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver of the car for DUI.
