JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 3, 2026) – Sunday morning, a crippling motorcycle crash on State Route 60 and Pyrite Street injured 1 person.

The incident happened at 3:00 a.m. on the eastbound State Route 60, west of Pyrite Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involving a black motorcycle and a blue Mazda sedan left the motorcyclist seriously injured.

Officers reported the rider came to rest against the center divider wall, while the motorcycle was scattered across multiple lanes in pieces.

Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to Riverside Community Hospital, where he was treated for a severe leg injury.

It was not immediately known whether the driver of the Mazda sedan was cited or arrested.
