SAN ANTONIO, TX (February 23, 2026) – Sunday morning, a person was hospitalized after a crippling motorcycle crash on US Highway 281 near San Pedro Avenue.

The incident occurred in the southbound lanes of US Highway 281 near San Pedro Avenue.

Fire officials said a motorcyclist crashed into the back of a vehicle. One person was transported to a hospital for treatment.

TxDOT’s traffic map previously showed that three lanes were closed. By 1:20 p.m., all lanes had reopened.
