GILBERT, AZ (August 17, 2025) – Saturday morning, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Elliot Road near Val Vista injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 9:00 a.m. on Elliot Road just east of Val Vista.

According to the Gilbert Police Department, an eastbound vehicle failed to control his speed and collided with three vehicles that were yielding to a pedestrian in the crosswalk.

Moreover, responders transported a man to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, the other drivers remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
