Injuries Reported in Fresno Multi-Vehicle Accident on Herndon Avenue and Brawley Avenue

FRESNO, CA (May 3, 2026) – Friday afternoon, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Herndon Avenue and Brawley Avenue sent 3 drivers to the hospital.

The incident happened at about 3:00 p.m. on Herndon Avenue and Brawley Avenue.

Fresno Police Department Sgt. Diana Trueba Vega said the crash happened when a Honda SUV traveling east on Herndon Avenue ran a red light.

The Honda collided with a Jeep and a plumbing van that had a green light and was heading north on Brawley Avenue.

All three drivers were taken to a hospital. One of them was pinned in their vehicle and suffered moderate injuries, according to officers.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
