Injuries Reported in El Paso Multi-Vehicle Accident on Interstate 10 and Vinton Overpass

EL PASO, TX (October 30, 2025) – Wednesday afternoon, a crippling multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 and Vinton Overpass injured 3 people.

The incident happened just before 1:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 and the Vinton overpass.

All eastbound lanes of I-10 near Vinton were shut down following a multi-vehicle crash, forcing drivers to exit at Vinton Exit 2. According to TxDOT, the scene was cleared and lanes reopened around 3:30 p.m.

Footage from the crash site showed a semitrailer and several cars involved. The West Valley Fire Department said crews assisted with clearing the roadway and providing patient care. El Paso County sheriff’s deputies also responded, with spokesperson Priscilla Contreras confirming that three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash occurred near the Texas–New Mexico state line, and officials with the New Mexico Department of Transportation reported heavy traffic congestion in the area after the incident.
