1 Person Hospitalized in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident near Interstate 10 and Wurzbach Parkway

SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 16, 2026) – Saturday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash near Interstate 10 and Wurzbach Parkway injured one person.

The incident happened at around 1:29 a.m. near Interstate 10 and Wurzbach Parkway.

According to reports, a white Audi managed to stop in time to avoid a collision with a female pedestrian who was running in the northbound lanes of the highway, where pedestrians are prohibited.

Moreover, a Toyota Camry rear-ended the stopped Audi and struck the female pedestrian.

Furthermore, responders transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with critical injuries.
