ST LOUIS, MO (June 21, 2026) – Late Thursday night, a person sustained injuries in a crippling pedestrian crash near Sarah Street and Maffitt Avenue.

The crash occurred shortly after 10:30 p.m. near Sarah Street and Maffitt Avenue.

Initial emergency calls indicated a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle. Witnesses said the same driver also struck several parked cars in the area.

A photographer at the scene observed at least four damaged vehicles, though neighbors estimated as many as seven cars may have been hit.

According to witnesses, the driver, described as a woman operating a silver vehicle, traveled north on Sarah Street, crossed a curb, and crashed into parked vehicles at the end of Maffitt Avenue.

Emergency responders transported multiple people to a hospital, including the driver, who reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Police had not released information about the driver, the injured pedestrian, or the circumstances surrounding the crash as of Friday. The investigation remains ongoing.
