1 Person Hurt in Kansas City Pedestrian Accident on 241 E Linwood Boulevard

KANSAS CITY, MO (April 22, 2025) – Monday afternoon, a crippling pedestrian crash on 241 E Linwood Boulevard injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 3:45 p.m. in the parking lot of a Costco on 241 E Linwood Boulevard.

According to KCPD spokesperson Officer Alayna Gonzalez, a car struck a pedestrian who was hanging on a black Mercedes that was leaving after an argument with the pedestrian. Then, the Mercedes fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Responders transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with critical injuries.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information, the KCPD continued to investigate the crash.
