PHOENIX, AZ (October 22, 2025) – Tuesday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on 24th Street near McDowell Road injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 5:00 a.m. on 24th Street near McDowell Road.

According to the Phoenix Police Department, a vehicle struck a female pedestrian who was lying in the road for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the woman to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed 24th Street in both directions from McDowell to Palm Lane.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
