2 People Hurt in Yuma Pedestrian Accident on County 18 ½ Street and Avenue 3E

YUMA, AZ (May 5, 2026) – Monday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on County 18 ½ Street and Avenue 3E injured two people.

The incident happened at around 6:29 a.m. on County 18 ½ Street and Avenue 3E.

According to reports, a westbound red Mazda truck veered into the eastbound lanes and struck a parked vehicle and two people standing beside the vehicle.

Moreover, responders airlifted the two victims, a 28-year-old female and a 31-year-old male, to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers confirmed that the driver fled the scene on foot after the crash.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
