SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 17, 2026) – Saturday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on East Houston Street and 3rd Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 3:00 a.m. on East Houston Street and 3rd Street.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, a vehicle reversed and struck a male pedestrian who was crossing the roadway. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the 25-year-old victim to a hospital with critical injuries.
