DENT COUNTY, MO (August 2, 2026) – Friday night, a person sustained injuries in a crippling pedestrian crash on Highway 32 and County Road 2405.

The incident happened at around 10:35 p.m. on Highway 32, west of County Road 2405.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a 2004 Ford F-150 in Dent County.

Troopers said the 46-year-old man from Cook Station was walking in the roadway when he was hit by the pickup truck. He was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries.

The 59-year-old Salem man driving the Ford F-150 was not injured.
