SPRINGFIELD, MO (October 5, 2025) – Friday night, a man suffered injuries in a crippling pedestrian crash on Kearney Street and West Bypass.

The incident involving a pedestrian happened at about 8:00 p.m. on Kearney Street and West Bypass, said the Springfield PD.

Police said the man who was struck was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
