OXNARD, CA (August 18, 2026) – Sunday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on Oxnard Boulevard and Ninth Street injured one person.

The incident happened at around 5:00 a.m. on Oxnard Boulevard and Ninth Street.

According to reports, a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway.

Moreover, responders transported the 40-year-old pedestrian to a hospital with critical injuries.

Furthermore, the 65-year-old driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and was not suspected of impairment.
