Injuries Reported in Sacramento Pedestrian Accident on Stockton Boulevard and Power Inn Road

SACRAMENTO, CA (February 2, 2025) – Saturday morning, a crippling pedestrian crash on Stockton Boulevard and Power Inn Road injured 1 person.

The incident occurred at 7:48 a.m. on Stockton Boulevard and Power Inn Road.

CHP officers arrived at the scene and found a pedestrian with head and hand lacerations.

According to investigators, an 81-year-old man was crossing northbound through the intersection of East Stockton Boulevard at Power Inn Road in a black motorized wheelchair when a 60-year-old woman driving a 2012 Audi struck him while making a left turn from Power Inn Road onto East Stockton Boulevard.

Authorities are still determining who had the right of way. Medical crews later informed CHP that the pedestrian had succumbed to his injuries. His identity will be released after the next of kin is notified.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
