Injuries Reported in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Valley Drive and Esmeralda Drive

SAN ANTONIO, TX (March 26, 2026) – Tuesday night, a 62-year-old man sustained injuries in a crippling pedestrian crash on Valley Drive and Esmeralda Drive.

The incident began just after 6:30 p.m. on Vanley Drive and Esmeralda Drive.

Police said a man was struck by a truck while directing traffic around a separate crash in a West Side neighborhood.

The driver of the truck left the scene. The man was taken to a hospital, and his condition has not been released.

Authorities said the drivers involved in the initial crash remained at the scene and are expected to be OK.

The investigation remains ongoing.
