PLANO, TX (December 24, 2025) – Monday, a crippling pedestrian crash on West Park Boulevard and Preston Road injured 1 person.

The incident happened on West Park Boulevard, east of Person Road.

Police said a woman wearing dark clothing was crossing multiple lanes of traffic outside a crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle. The collision happened while the woman was in the roadway.

The driver stayed at the scene, according to police. Plano Fire Rescue transported the pedestrian to a local hospital, though her condition has not been released.

Investigators said there is no indication that speed or intoxication played a role in the crash. The Plano Police Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
