FRESNO COUNTY, CA (April 19, 2026) – Friday night, a crippling pickup crash on Cornelia Avenue and Kearney Boulevard sent two men to the hospital.

The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Cornelia Avenue and Kearney Boulevard.

Two men were hospitalized with major injuries after running a stop sign and colliding with a pickup, which was then pushed into a canal.

Police said the men were traveling north on Cornelia Avenue and failed to stop at Kearney Boulevard. As they entered the intersection, they crashed into a pickup moving west, sending it into a shallow canal.

Both men were taken to the hospital with major injuries.

Authorities said a woman in the pickup sustained only minor injuries.
