COLUMBIA, MO (March 11, 2026) – Tuesday morning, a crippling rollover crash on Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 153 injured one person.

The incident happened on Interstate 70 near Mile Marker 153.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 16-year-old driver of a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe fell asleep. Then, the vehicle veered across the median and rolled over.

Moreover, responders transported a 40-year-old male passenger of the vehicle to University Hospital with moderate injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the MSHP continued investigating the crash.
