Injuries Reported in Grand Junction Auto Accident on Ute Avenue and 12th Street
GRAND JUNCTION, CO (January 21, 2026) – Tuesday, a crippling rollover crash on Ute Avenue and 12th Street injured 2 people.
The incident involving two trucks happened on Ute Avenue and 12th Street.
Ute Avenue was reduced to one lane, while 12th Street was closed starting at Colorado Avenue, about a block from the crash scene.
Reports said one of the trucks overturned and came to rest upside down on the sidewalk along Ute Avenue, while the other sustained major front-end damage. A nearby tree was also damaged.
Two people were taken to the hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
The Grand Junction Police and Fire departments responded to the scene.
