Injuries Reported in Saline County Auto Accident on US Highway 65 near Jasmine Avenue

SALINE COUNTY, MO (June 8, 2026) – Saturday night, a crippling single-vehicle crash on US Highway 65 near Jasmine Avenue sent 2 people to the hospital.

The incident happened at 9:28 p.m. on US Highway 65 near Jasmine Avenue.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened when a 25-year-old Slater man was driving a 2005 Ford Focus southbound on Highway 65.

Troopers said the driver lost control, ran off the right side of the roadway, then overcorrected. The vehicle crossed back across the road in reverse, left the roadway again, overturned, and struck an embankment.

The driver suffered moderate injuries and was taken to the University of Missouri Hospital. A 24-year-old female passenger from Marshall sustained minor injuries and was also transported there.

Officials said neither occupant was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The Ford Focus was totaled and removed from the scene by Thompson’s Towing.
