1 Person Hospitalized in Albuquerque Auto Accident on Interstate 40 and Tramway Boulevard NE

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (August 14, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a crippling traffic crash on Interstate 40 and Tramway Boulevard NE injured one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 5:20 p.m. on Interstate 40 and Tramway Boulevard NE.

According to the Albuquerque Police Department, the crash involved multiple vehicles, including a vehicle that rolled over on its roof.

Moreover, responders rushed one person to University of New Mexico Hospital in serious condition. Also, officers said that three more people sustained unknown injuries in the crash.

Furthermore, the crash closed southbound Tramway Boulevard at the Interstate 40 on ramp.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
