2 People Hurt in Houston Auto Accident on Westheimer Road and Potomac Drive

HOUSTON, TX (January 29, 2025) – On Tuesday, a crippling vehicle crash on Westheimer Road and Potomac Drive injured two people.

The incident happened at the intersection of Westheimer Road and Potomac Drive, near Fountain View Drive.

According to reports, a Mercedes lost control, crossed all lanes of Westheimer Road, and struck a truck and a pedestrian before crashing through the windows of Golden Tattoo Studio, pinning a customer of the establishment against a wall.

Moreover, responders transported the pinned customer of the tattoo shop to a hospital with severe leg injuries. Also, the pedestrian was able to walk away after the incident.

Furthermore, the driver of the vehicle claimed that he blacked out and was unaware of what happened during the incident.

Also, officers said that the driver appeared coherent but not intoxicated.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
