Injuries Reported in Cave Creek Multi-Vehicle Accident on Cave Creek Road

CAVE CREEK, CA (April 5, 2026) – Friday night, a crippling wrong-way crash on Cave Creek Road injured 2 people.

The incident happened at about 7:19 p.m. on Cave Creek Road near Harold’s Cave Creek Corral.

Authorities said a driver suspected of being intoxicated drove the wrong way and crashed into a parked truck, eight motorcycles, and three people near a restaurant in Cave Creek.

Investigators said the driver had been driving recklessly through a parking lot before turning onto Cave Creek Road in the wrong direction.

Two of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries, including severe head trauma and a serious abdominal injury. A third person had minor injuries and declined transport to a hospital.

Deputies said the driver remained at the scene and showed signs of alcohol impairment.

The investigation is ongoing.
