CUDAHY, CA – Bicyclist Fatally Struck by Car Near River Road and Clara Street

CUDAHY, CA (December 11, 2018) – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a vehicle near River Road and Clara Street Monday afternoon.
 
Sheriff’s investigators are working to determine the events that led to the 4 p.m. crash, which officers believe happened in a dark area with not many street lights. The driver involved cooperated with investigators following the incident.
 
Investigators have surmised that both the bicyclist and the motorist were heading eastbound before the collision. Results from toxicology tests are pending and should determine whether impairment played a role.
