Dairin Euceda Aguilera Dies in 2-Car Collision on US 395 [Pasco, WA]

Pasco, WA (July 5, 2025) – 22-year-old Dairin Euceda Aguilera died after a head-on crash on US 395 Thursday.

According to authorities, the head-on collision happened just after 4:30 p.m. near the underpass near Lewis Street.

Reports say that the collision tragically killed one person and sent another to the hospital.

Authorities say that a car, driven by a 20-year-old man from Aurora, Colorado, exited onto US 395 from Lewis Street.

At the same time, a 35-year-old Kennewick man, driving a pickup, exited onto Lewis Street from US 395. The two vehicles crashed head-on.

The car’s passenger, identified as Aguilera of Chantilly, Virginia, died at the scene.

Officials have notified her next of kin. Medics transported the car’s driver to the hospital; their current condition remains unknown. The pickup driver also sustained injuries but did not require hospitalization.

The Washington State Patrol confirmed improper lane usage caused the crash, but they have not yet filed charges.

The Lewis Street Underpass was shut down due to the crash, affecting traffic flow on US 395 and forcing commuters to use alternative routes like Court Street or the Cable Bridge to cross the Columbia. WSP investigators continued to work at the scene.
