Phoenix, AZ (April 07, 2024) On Friday evening, 27-year-old Daniel Barcelo died and another driver was hurt in a horrific multi-vehicle crash on 51st Avenue.

According to Phoenix police, the deadly 4-vehicle collision happened at about 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of 51st Avenue and Van Buren Street.

Reports say that the collision involved 4 vehicles. Officials say that Barcelo and another male driver were taken to a nearby hospital, and both suffered serious injuries.

Authorities say that Barcelo was driving west on Van Buren Street when his vehicle crossed onto the opposite lane and crashed with 3 other vehicles.

Officials say that Barcelo was later declared dead at the hospital, while the other driver remains in critical condition with serious injuries.
