Suzuki Rider Seriously Injured in NB I-215 Fatal Crash

Perris, CA (August 7, 2026) – Daniel Bernston, 40, of Perris, was killed, and another person was injured following a vehicle crash on I-215 late Tuesday night.

The devastating collision unfolded before 10 p.m. at Harley Knox Boulevard.

According to the authorities, Bernston was riding his 1997 Harley-Davidson at an unknown speed on the northbound lanes.

At the same time, another motorcyclist riding a 2006 Suzuki GSXR at an unknown speed has entered the same lane of the freeway.

The two motorcycles collided .with each other and both riders lost control and were thrown from their motorcycles.

The Harley-Davidson rested on the freeway’s shoulder at the Harley Knox Boulevard off-ramp.

Bernston was thrown near his motorcycle, and just as he stood up, a 2017 Toyota Camry exiting the freeway, struck him.

Rescuers found Bernston suffering from grave injuries. They rushed him to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he was declared deceased less than an hour later.

The driver of the vehicle that struck Bernston remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Moreover, the motorcyclist riding the Suzuki sustained major injuries and was rushed to the same hospital.
