Daniel Farrar Killed in Horrific North Freeway High-Speed Crash [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (January 3, 2025) On Tuesday evening, 49-year-old Daniel Farrar was killed, while his female passenger was hurt in a tragic high-speed crash on the North Freeway.

According to Houston police (HPD), the fatal crash happened at 6:25 p.m. near 12500 North Freeway on New Year’s Eve.

Reports say that a high-speed crash claimed the life Farrar who was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the North Freeway.

Authorities say that three vehicles were involved in a minor collision in the southbound lanes near 12500 North Freeway.

Officials say that to avoid the crash, the driver of a gray Tesla swerved and stopped partially on the left shoulder. Farrar, traveling at high speed with a female passenger, struck the Tesla from behind.

Both riders were ejected from the motorcycle. Farrar succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while the 46-year-old passenger was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

The Tesla driver stayed on-site, cooperated with investigators, and was not believed to be intoxicated. Police have not filed any charges against the driver.
