Tempe, AZ (August 26, 2025) — Authorities identified 65-year-old Daniel Martin as the man who died following a four-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon near Guadalupe and Rural roads.

Police said Martin was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but later passed away from his injuries.

Officials have not confirmed whether others were hurt in the collision.

The crash forced road closures for several hours, with westbound Guadalupe blocked at Terrace and northbound Rural traffic diverted. Roads reopened after about five hours.
